One of the BEST! I've eaten "chicken fried steaks" about everywhere I've been and I've been from Seattle to NY, from NY to Atlanta and from Atlanta to San Diego and the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes is one of the best I had anywhere and if they're open for Thansgiving, thats where we'll go and guess what we're having! Highly recommended! Flash [03 Nov 2002 22:21:26]

Unexpected, Great Place for Dinner! Very good food. Great Margaritas. Not a huge selection on the menu, but what they do offer is quite good. I haven't tried everything on the menu because I realllly like the Chicken Fried Steak! [08 May 2003 23:20:16]

Simply Awsome!! I went out to eat with my family the other day, and was delighted by this restaurant! The food was wonderful, and the presentation was something that you might see in a magazine. Our server, whose name I cannot remember but do remember that he had dreadlocks, was VERY nice, and VERY professional. I had the smoked pecan salmon, and it was one of the best salmon dishes that I have ever had. Highly recommended! [10 Nov 2003 18:46:45]

Well worth the trip. The Desert Fire in Redmond is well worth the trip. The food and service is excellent. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is very comfortable. It's not a place you feel like you have to be formal or quiet. Casual, or dressed to the nines, everyone is comfortable and everyone has a good time. :) [08 Feb 2004 10:09:15]

16 oz beer size is fraudulent Their menu states that they offer 16-oz beers. I bought one, finished it and then poured a 12-oz Corona into the same glass. It came to the top! They are selling 12-oz beers and fraudulently claiming that they are 16 oz. Since they clearly state 16 oz, and every waiter will ask you if you want "16 oz" I think they should give you 16 oz. I seriously doubt that their "25 oz" beers are 25 either. Food is marginal. [26 Oct 2005 17:42:05]
