While the pies have generous toppings, expect a slightly salty pizza with a chewy crust. - CitySearch, 1 July 1997 - suggest change

Pretty good pasta, GREAT pizza OK, their pizza isn't legendary New York or even Chicago style, but it is good! I went in thinking that I'd just get a slice to keep my wife company while she had some lasagna (which she loves). I wasn't expecting much but they gave me a huge slice of basil chicken pizza which was unusual but had great flavor and the chicken was tender and not dried out. The veggies were fresh, the garlic was there but not overwhelming and the ensemble succeeded in being good Italian. [18 Sep 2000 10:11:21]

Not so great My husband and I have been 2-3 times to Frankie's in Redmond. Unfortunately the food just isn't nearly as good as the Italian food we've had elsewhere, and it's more expensive than most. Very bland, service acceptable but nothing special. We won't be back. [19 May 2004 15:03:19]

BEST PIZZA IN SEATTLE AREA A small privately owned pizza joint. Wouldn't expect it? Well, it's there and this is by far the best pizza I've had in the entire Seattle area. What makes a pizza so good (besides how fresh and moist the toppings are able to remain) is the flavor of the dough. This is the best pizza I've had in my life. [10 Feb 2005 19:59:44]

Very good Really decent Italian. Best marinara sauce I have tasted. Love their appetizer of fried ravioli. Pizza is very good, so also the american cheesecake. Very unpretentious place, cosy, seems quite popular. [01 Jun 2006 16:57:47]

Really good pizza The pizza is fabulous and the crust is the best I've had anywhere. My favorite is the Passion Pizza (Italian sausage, artichokes, feta, sundried tomatoes, pinenuts, pesto sauce, etc.). Slightly pricey, but worth the cost. The entrees are good, too, and the bread sticks are yummy. [23 Jul 2006 01:30:14]

Better than the rest Pizza is my favorite. Pasta dishes are great too. Long waits on weekends. Way better than other Italian places in the area. [04 Dec 2006 00:01:56]
