JapanThai: unusual, great food, low cost
JapanThai is one of only a few places around that feature Japanese and Thai cuisine. The owners are a Thai woman and her Japanese American husband. His brother, a former fish buyer, fish cutter, and cook at some Seattle's finer Japanese restaurants, works as a cook there, so the seafood is a cut above. The saba(mackerel) and salmon are extraordinarily fresh, and the Thai dishes have a light fresh taste. Portion sizes are generous, prices are low, service is friendly and swift, ice cream is homemade...so what are you waiting for?    [14 Jan 2003 22:07:27]
