Delicious, authentic and friendly
The food is consistently good in this bustling place.
The chile verde is a personal favorite--whether as a main dish or in a burrito, it's always good. I've had the tacos many times and they've always been tasty, aestetically topped with fresh pico de gallo. The pollo asado is scrumptous and plentiful. Impressive
While going to the pizza joint next door, the fabulous smell coming from Taco Del Rey inspired us to grab a menu. We went back later and the food was excellent. The quesadilla was large and perfectly cooked--not too soft, not too crispy. I wasn't impressed with the salsa--very bland for wimpy palates, but the green sauce was fabulous. Delicious but not cheap
Great authentic food, but a little expensive for what it is, $2.50 per taco, so three small tacos costs $7.50, which isn't enough food, so 4 = $10.00. Plus the owner allows only one helping of salsa free, any more and you are charged for it and he watches it like a hawk. Really good
I decided to stop down by ikea the other day and was hungry. I looked and saw a mexican place and decided to stop by. Really good food that was made in a few minutes. I would really like to go there again    [29 Jun 2006 16:33:49]
