salty, good comfort food The Blue Onion for the most part serves yummy comfort food. Unfortunately on my last trip there, everything was way too salty. [01 Apr 2003 21:24:21]

Outstanding Food & Value!! Our family has eaten at the Blue Onion many times over the years and have always left extremely happy. This is one of the best kept secrets in Seattle. Yes, the food is rich and the portions large, but you get four-star food for three-star (or lower) prices in a funky/unique atmosphere. The service is always impecable -- attentive, personable, but never intrusive. They're more than happy to box up your left-overs for a yummy lunch the next day. I am fairly salt-sensitive and have never thought it was overpowering. The Stranger's review was way too harsh -- this is a must try! (Make sure you have reservations, they're always booked, even mid-week!) [02 Jan 2004 21:33:06]
