Italy, is that you??
I remember the day I first walked in Bottega Italiana: I was a gelato sceptic. I have spent much time in Italy as not only a traveller but also as a resident. Since moving back to the States, one of my greatest withdrawls is from REAL Italian gelati. It was at Bottega Italiana that I finally found what I'd been missing. The smoothness of texture and the saturation of flavor left me speechless with the joy of having real gelati again. Not only that, but their expresso is finely done and when I took some Italian friends there on a visit to the States they called it "the first real Cappuccino" they'd had since leaving Italy.    [10 Dec 2006 03:23:56]
