Wickey's Wicked good fare Pauline Wickey throws down luxurious compositions of freshest ingredients. Her sense of color and adventure are understated in the names on the menu.
Brunch: Scramble Mix is apt, but can't describe the palette of flavors. Inferno Eggs comes closer to heaven (for a chili fan) than you might expect. You have to try the hash, baby-boomer, this ain't corned beef.
Dinner: First things first, the Meze Platter, is an indulgence you owe yourself, go on. The salads are fresh, beautiful combinations of vivid tastes, topped with her original dressings, which light up the experience. 'Wild' is the first word for two of them, and appropriate! The Jerk Chicken makes the Wild Island a meal, and an excursion. On the Wild Greens, I recommend adding the Portobello, you've earned it.
The Tequila Fettuccini can't be missed, comfort food at large. Let me remind you, about anything seafood, we are in SEA-ttle here, and Pauline makes it talk. Blackened, European, Caribbean, and Northwest tastes run free here. Last note, Chowder. If it is available, and you are in the mood to drown in decadence, they can oblige. [09 Oct 2004 10:48:52]
