Used to be one of Seattle's Best Places
I see from stickers in the window that this restaurant used to be listed in Best Places Seattle. In my copy (8th edition) the Seattle location of this restaurant does not appear (although the Bellevue location does). There are numerous awards hung on their walls, but most of them are from years ago.

I ordered a chicken marsala type dish, and it was fairly good, although the pasta side was a little overcooked, and I was wishing for more mushrooms. One thing that impressed me is that they provide balsalmic vinegar on the table, along with the olive oil. Many italian places don't do this, probably because good balsalmic vinegar is expensive.

I'd happily go there again, especially if I was in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't recommend it as a fabulous place    [25 Feb 2002 23:40:47]
