Great Food, BAD Service I've been dining here for over 5 years. I love the food and am a devoted customer. HOWEVER...of all the times I've gone, only about 10% of the time have I recieved adequate to good service. Almost all of the servers there are rude (though, occasionally, at the end of the meal, they might put on a smile to earn their tip). The point is, the food's so good that I'll put up with rude servers if I have to (and I pretty much always have to). [27 Feb 2005 15:39:17]

The Best Mongolian BBQ Anywhere I was in the Military for 4 years, and I am a huge fan of Mongolian BBQ's. I have had them all over the US, from SoCal to Wisconsin, and I have not found one that can compare to The Golden Grill. I have been eating at this one for over 7 years now. I have friends that were in the Marines with me, and when they come to visit, the first thing they want to do is eat here. I don't have any problems with the service, however, there is one employee that we try to avoid when we go there, he is a young man, who sometimes cooks on the BBQ, and he really ruins the meal for us, so much that we have resorted to getting the BBQ to go. The wait staff have been nothing but great to us, they really take care of us. The BBQ is the best, and worth a try, if you have never had it before, it may take a couple of trips to figure out what types of sauces to use, but once you get it down this place is hands down the best food in Washington. Inconsistent take-out items... We do love the BBQ, but we have found inconsistency as far as other menu items. I have ordered the Garlic Chicken to go several times and it never tastes the same. Sometimes the sauce is thick and sometimes it is watery. So...we have tried other places but this one is still the best. In other words, we aren't crazy about any of the Chinese restaurants we have tried in this area, but we still have a couple left to try. [14 Jul 2007 19:48:31]
