Local Landmark?
This is a really cool little place, not only is the food great but all of the walls are COVERED in pictures of previous diners, often people you know are in the picture right over your sholder, and there is always the hope of finding yourself up on the wall. I used to LOVE going to this place when it first came out. But over the years, they have become really cheap! The portions of rice and food they serve get smaller and smaller every year. They charge extra for everything, including drinks. No refills! Food is not that tasty. When you get salad, they don't drain the water enough from the salad and ou end up with a bowl of salad with water at the bottom! Yuck! Who wants to eat salad soup! They use plastic dishes that are already scratched up and cracked. Talk about bacteria! But I'm not wasting my money on this place again. I can get much better tasting food a block away at Heidi's Teriyaki (across from Staples) who serves huge portions for a similar price! Better service and tasty food. This place is awsome and is full of pictures on the walls everywhere so instead of just dining on some great food, you also have the fun of trying to look for people you know or maybe find yourself in the photos. Did I mention how great tasting the food is? You just have to savor every bite and everything on the menu is worth trying. You won't be sorry.
