Need to change their attitudes toward customers
We like Jack in the Box food. JITB has some of the best tasting fast foods and has a very diverse menu for a fast food restaurant. My favorites are the sour dough burger, the salads and their tacos. I've never received bad food there.
The restaurant on Argonne is closest to our house so unfortunately we forget from time to time how bad the service is at that particular restaurant. They used to have a problem with people not coming out to the counter to wait on the customers, but that seems to have been corrected recently. The last few times I've been there they act like they have a problem with their attitude toward the customers. What happened with the saying "the customer is always right"? Why do I always need to show my receipt again to get all the food I paid for? The last time I was there they told me I didn't order a drink and gave me one grudgingly when I showed them my receipt. This time when I was there they only gave me part of my order. Then they told me in a very accusatory way that I didn't order any more. But backed down because the counter was busy by saying "just give it to her anyway". I gave my receipt to the girl at the counter with instructions to show it to the manager so he knew that I paid for it, and walked out. Unfortunately for them we spend a lot of money at JITB but after they made me feel like a criminal this morning it will be the last time that we take our family or friends to their store. The clencher to this mornings visit is that they didn't give me my drink. I realized it as I walked out the door but since the store was busy and they had a problem with giving me all my food in the first place, there was no way I was going back in again.    [06 Oct 2007 12:46:06]
