OK, but not great
Food was nothing exceptional, but nothing bad either. Service was horrible in the dining area, but quite good at the bar tables. Margaritas were good.    [19 Dec 2000 22:32:31]

Pretty Good Mexican
Had dinner here on two nights. The food is middle-of-the-road Mexican. Ingredients were reasonably fresh, good taste. Portion sizes were generous. Service in the bar seating was good, less so in the main restaurant. Margaritas were quite good.

If you're looking for LOUD
I've only been here once--on the night of my move to town. It almost gave me a brain hemorrhage. The food was good, but the atmosphere was ear-splitting and chaotic. Great for a party, but not for people suffering from low-grade exhaustion.    [16 Oct 2001 23:57:33]

Check it out on WET WED!
If you're looking for entertainment, go out there on a Wednesday night in the summer. Wet Wednesdays are a blast and you will see some of Oregon's pro wake boarders! Have a drink- have an appetizer- sit out on the deck and enjoy! 21 and over is the most fun!    [30 Jun 2003 14:51:52]

Have a lot of time?
Went into the bar on a Saturday night ... it was nearly empty in there and still the service was hideous. Took forever to be acknowledged, had to ask for water, once we got our drink and appetizer I don't think we ever saw our waiter again. You'd think having a kickin' new restaurant right next door they'd try a little harder.    [15 Sep 2003 13:32:12]

Overall Okay - need new host and hostess
Our first impression was terrible. They had a couple young ladies at the hostess desk that were chatting about what they were doing after work. The lobby was packed, but we were seated within 10 minutes and we had a party of 7. I assume the rest were smaller parties and they didn’t want to put them at the larger tables. Still it seemed rude of us to take our table with all the others still waiting.

Salsa is great and so is the guacamole they prepare at your table. I had the chicken fajitas and they were OK, but the not the best you would except at a Mexican restaurant. Drinks are always awesome!!

Service was OK. Our server seemed a little flaky, as he kept forgetting things, but he was moderately fast.

Atmosphere was clean. Very loud, great for a party! They sing non-stop.    [19 Nov 2004 13:42:51]

Nothin' Special
The food is bland, decor is tacky, and it wasn't all that clean either. My table cloth and menu were dirty ... not a good sign. The setting is beautiful; right on the Columbia River .... wow!!! I wouldn't go again. I took out of town guests there and was embarrassed.    [05 Feb 2005 12:04:17]

Great Food, Better Service
The food here is very fresh! The make their own salsa and make the guacamole at our table with nothing but limes and avocados ... very tasty! I am a regular so I am treated well, but they are good servers to all. It is pretty lively, so as long as you aren't looking for a quiet night, this is a great place to go.    [06 May 2007 13:32:23]

Recommended Dishes: I am a vegie so I get the bean and cheese burrito... but their cadilac margaritas are GREAT!

I love the atmosphere on the deck. However, this restaurant is not very vegetarian friendly. I ordered some veggie tacos and noticed that there appeared to be some cooked meat stuck on the taco shell. I asked the waitress if they could make another and be careful they don't get meat on it. The second came back the same way. The manager then revealed that the taco shells were cooked in meat juice!! The fact that they didn't know this and served it twice that way is unfortunate. For serious vegetarians in the area (of which there are so many) this is a real turn off. It would take only an easy fix like veggie symbols on the menu to right this. Think i'll stick to the margaritas for now..    [13 Jun 2007 14:26:02]
