Description
Contemporary, historic atmosphere, very comfortable. Casual dining environment with high quality food selections. Large micro brew selection, large wine selection.
Historic 100 year old building with huge outdoor deck seating in the summer and a giant copper hooded fireplace for the cold winter days. Upscale, yet casual menus for lunch, dinner and a separate bar menu. Incredible spirits selection with specialty drinks abound, the mixologists are AWESOME. Try the beer crust wood oven pizzas, the roasted garlic chicken pizza is to die for.

Applewood's Food = Cold and Slow! I had a very disappointing experience at the Applewood grill. The service was very slow and my plate arrived cold. I won't be back! [13 Feb 2007 12:26:49]

Unhappy with Applewood!
What a Great Place! The menu was amazing, service was outstanding, and the whole experience was outstanding! Keep it up! [22 May 2007 05:59:38]

From Great to Terrible. My Husband and I ate at Applewood a couple of years ago and loved it so we decided to try again 7/29/07. What a disappointment? We ordered Linguine & Portablella Goat Cheese Pasta. The Linguine was hard and the sauce was anything but fresh. The Portabella dish was also overcooked with a very oily flavorless pesto (the goat cheese mushrooms were good). Didn't eat the pesto dish and wasn't even asked if there was a problem with the dish. We won't be back. Maybe stay away from the pasta?? [29 Jul 2007 19:15:17]
