The food is good, the service great
What is it about trendy places in refurbished 19th century buildings that add no acoustic material to buffer the clatter from the kitchen ... AND have live music? If you want to hear the walls buzz like a cheap speaker in the back of a low-rider, this is the place.

The food is good, the service great, the wine list extensive and pricey.

Great burger, cheese plate
Had a delicious burger (Rio Burger), good beer and an excellent cheese plate here. Our table didn't really try anything adventurous. No live music on the night we visited, which made for a decent atmosphere judging from the previous review. Service was friendly and helpful.    [19 Jul 2007 16:10:44]
