We have eaten at Bosacki's for over 30 years and the food has been excellent until recently. Four of us ate there on a Saturday night in July, 2005. The two that had Prime Rib said it was excellent. My husband and I had the New York strip and it was one of the worse steaks I have ever eaten. It was extremely grisly and we were not able to eat most of it. Also both of our potatoes were hard. On August 13th a friend who is spending the summer in Minocqua and I ate dinner at Bosacki's. We arrived around 5:30 and when seated were informed the special was gone. We ordered steak dinners instead. My friends salad looked old, the soup was cold, my steak was inedible and her's barely edible. When we informed the waitress she was shocked and said she would tell the chef. That is all the satisfaction we were able to get. We tried to see the manager but were unsuccessful. We paid $20.00 each for something we couldn't eat. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We have eaten at Bosacki for over 30 years and have always thought it good until recently. The last 2 times we ate there the food was bad. We both had steaks which were all fat, the seasoned french fries looked like they were dropped on the floor. I told the waitress and all she could say was I'm sorry. This last time was January 27, 2008. That same day several people got up and walked out. I was willing to give it a 3rd try, but it will be our last.
