Best bakery on Lake Pepin This is a bakery like the bakery you went to as a kid. Chewy crusts, great flavors.
Add a couple of pastries for a sweet treat. [03 Sep 2005 11:00:28]

I think this is the kind of food heaven will have! Quaint, friendly and great food! This small cafe is tucked in the beautiful town of Stockholm, WI. Colleen, the owner and chef, greets everyone personally. The food was really earthy, in a good way. The ingredients were very fresh and had a very rich flavor. Do not leave without trying the Dukkah, and Egyptian crushed nut and seed mixture. It's amazing! Make sure to check out the posters for the annual Stockholm Art Show displayed on the walls. It looked like they had the poster for each year (about 30). [21 Apr 2006 22:47:58]

:Swedish Donuts (to die for !) A friend and I stopped in to check out the bakery since we had already had lunch elsewhere. I bought something called a "swedish donut" (it is not round, it was shaped like a longish croissant).... IT WAS THE TASTIEST 'DONUT' I HAVE EVER HAD !!!! I can not wait to go back! Relaxing atmosphere and good food Going down WI 35 on a bright sunny weekend day is always nice. We go several times a year just to stop at this restaurant. Very good food at affordable prices. Good service. Friendly people. Great relaxing atmosphere. [28 May 2007 00:34:45]
