Wisconsin Dells Damon's Has Gone Downhill
We've been going to Damon's all over the country and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We live in the WI Dells area.

We went to the WI Dells location last night and were very dissatisfied. It used to be that a loaf of bread on a cutting board was served, but not any more.
My wife ordered the Apple/Bourbon Chicken, which we came to find out doesn't even include soup or salad.

When our check came, we realized that our Budweisers and Michelob lites were $3.75 and $3.50 respectively. Way too high for a domestic beer in my opinion.

The food was still tasty but certainly not a good value for the buck. The service was horrid. The waitress, Alena, was too busy cleaning the floor to take care of her tables. We had to go to the bar to get our own beers. It's doubtful that we'll be going back to Damon's soon.    [31 Jan 2002 14:15:14]
