Terrific Italian Food Been there since 1915. There must be a reason for that.
Quality, consistency, value. [31 Oct 2003 15:01:52]

OWNER RUDE & FOUL MOUTHED My son wanted lasagna, so we decided to try a place on the East End of Charleston, Leonoro's Spaghetti House. "Since 1915", the facade proudly hails.
I took one bite of the lasagna and stopped. It was, by far, the most bland and tasteless Italian I have ever eaten...seriously! Just noodles and very little cheese covered in tomato sauce. My son also complained, which was a shock to me, but of course did continue eating. After all, he is a 12 year old growing boy. I did explain to the waitress, she asked me if I would like a box. REALLY??? I asked if I could try something different, she suggested the spaghetti. I declined that offer, and asked if she could please just remove it from the bill. After all, I literally had eaten only one bite. Well, the bills are hand written and I couldn't make heads or tails out of it.
So upon leaving, I asked the lady at the register what the bill meant. They decided to charge me for half portion of lasagna. I explained to her what had happened with the food, after her asking me, "Is there anything wrong?" She then asked if I would like to speak with the owner, I declined and I PAID THE BILL. Then, as she was ringing up my card, started going on a tyrant, "We have served 300 customers today and have been in business since 1915...etc...etc.............." I said to my son, "Really, I wonder how?" OMG...that was the wrong thing to say. She said, "I'm going to get the owner! You're being very rude!"
Now, at this point I'm just a little taken back. I was by no means, ever rude. I thought to myself, "Lady, if anyone at this point is being rude, it's you!"
But that is nothing...just let me get to the REAL point here...
Here she comes with the owner, whom I never wanted to see. He then, without asking me a word, proceeded to tell me, "We have served over 200 customers today and have been in business since 1915...etc...etc.............." (I may have rolled my eyes during his spill, but I had just heard the very same words from the cashier) Now, keep in mind, I NEVER SAID A WORD.
The owner preceded to get up in my face as he went on. He started cursing me, "Just pay your F*&^%#^ bill and get the H^&% out...I do't want any F*&^%#^ trouble!"
Having my son with me, who was in shock as much as me, kept me calm. I had to show him that I am the better person here. So I just smiled and said, "I have already paid my bill, but WORD OF MOUTH can be very devastating!" And walked out...never to return again.
PLEASE PASS THE WORD! STAY AWAY!
I just can't believe this place! [05 Jun 2009 22:20:46]
