Great atmosphere, friendly servers.
My buddy, a climbing partner, and I sat down to breakfast at this quirky, and great cafe. We both braved the whole grain pancakes, me the blueberry, he the sweet potato. Oh my god, the size!! A whole stack is 3 (count them 3) completetly huge cakes spilling over the sides. Syrup? A definite yes!! On the weekends, during the season April - October, the place is packed with boaters, rafters, climbers, hikers, locals, etc. Everyone loves this place. The owner, Wendy, I think, is always there and always smiling. I think she was a raft guide before owning the cafe. The prices are very reasonable compared with other parts of the country. My Experience at Cathedrial is always Awesome!

Excellent restaurant
The Cathedral is a wonderful place to stop if you are in the Oak Hill/Fayetteville area. They have outstanding soups, wraps and sandwiches. If they have the white bean chicken chili when you are in, you got to have it.    [13 Dec 2004 20:41:05]

Fayetteville Residents Like it Too!
I live in Fayetteville and the Cathedrial Cafe is my breakfast stop nearly every morning. The $5.10 (pronounced Five Ten) is great. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and potatos. Get cheese on your potatos. The coffee is wonderful. Lunch is great too. They make an awesome reuben sandwich.    [22 Jan 2005 07:24:24]

Wendy and Rick run a fine cafe. The food is wonderful! The service is great! The atmosphere is different and friendly. My favorite lunch is the roast beef and muenster sandwich. Great eating. Almost Heaven in Fayetteville WV
Real slice of Americana you can't find in any chain restaurant.
Great food selections for breakfast and lunch.

Good Coffee, I would suggest you try the Costa Rican Dark Roast.

Many hand-made WV arts and crafts including Blenko Glass in the gift shop.
