Best place
Every time I visit WV I go here. This is the best spaghetti restaurant I've ever been to. I think that Michigan could use one of these, because I know that I'd hit it.    [18 Jan 2002 00:51:43]

SpaghettiFest
This little Italian diner is convenient to everything in the middle of town- the Court House, City Hall, the newspaper and television stations... Jim's is a landmark and tradition!    [22 Jan 2002 23:18:36]

I sure do miss going there
Absolutely my favorite place on earth to eat. Moved away a couple of years ago and I sure do miss the food. And the pies are to die for. I wish they'd ship to Florida. I can't wait to head "back home" and stop in Jim's for lunch. NOBODY makes spaghetti like he does.    [25 Jan 2002 21:41:08]

The people are great!
The people are so friendly! Jim's is a tradition of the town. The restaurant sits in the middle of everything, central to the city, and the people who come and go from this diner are really interesting folks!    [21 May 2002 20:57:00]

all-time favorite
I've been visiting Jim's since I was a baby -- I'm 26 now -- and even though I now live in DC, I visit Jim's as often as I can. The food is nothing fancy, but it tastes GREAT, and one price includes your spaghetti, salad, bread, and tea/coffee. Jim has operated that diner since the 1930s, and he has hung all sorts of memorabilia on the walls -- evidence of all the famous people who have eaten at Jim's (including JFK). Overall, it's a charming local diner with tasty food and good service.    [03 Jul 2002 15:44:38]

Best Spaghetti Around
I have been out of the area for 20 years and everytime I visit I have to get some of Jim's Spaghetti. I also wish they could ship the sauce to Florida. It's great.    [17 Jan 2003 16:26:00]

My favorite
I sort of grew up with Jim's Steak House. I began eating there shortly after high school graduation and continued on for the next thirty years. When we moved to Virginia in 1988, the experience I missed the most was a lunch or dinner at Jim's. His Food Manager, Bunny, was a hard worker and he and Jim were great organizers. Corporations have been known to bring their customers to Jim's to illustrate how a business should be run. As you can tell, I miss Jim's.    [18 Dec 2003 11:06:41]

Food: *****   Service: *****   Ambiance: *****   Overall: *****
Recommended Dishes: All of them. My favorates - fish, their proprietary thousand island dressing and tartar sauce.
