Still Improving Congrats to the new owner. He has done a marvelous job of expanding on the things that work well in a cafe, adding comfortable couches, lots of plants, and expanding the menu to include a wider variety of delicious desserts and snacks. A great place to waste an afternoon reading. Oh yeah, they have a great limited breakfast menu. [18 Jun 2002 14:30:06]

Great Atmosphere If you're in Morgantown and want a quiet place to meet your friends, read, study, and have some caffeine the Blue Moose is a must. The employees and patrons are very friendly and the coffee is great! [17 Oct 2002 08:42:08]

Mi Favorito I love the Blue Moose and even more since I moved to Barcelona, Spain two months ago. Although I've tried all over this huge city, it has been impossible for me to find a place as magic and unique as the Moose. Everything about it is absolutely great...I miss it badly. An Oasis in a Chain/Fast Food Wilderness We stopped in Morgantown on our way to Indiana , and were delighted to find the Blue Moose. When we asked at the hotel for a local breakfast cafe, the clerk referred us to ' Bob Evans'. So we wandered the incredibly beautiful town until we smelled real coffee. The breakfast menu is hearty, the coffee devine, and I'm in love with all the waitresses! [01 Dec 2003 11:11:46]

I Loooooove It I love the Moose. I was raised in Morgantown, and recently moved to Las Vegas, here I have found nothing that compares to the moose. I miss it so much. Their food is awesome, their employee's make ya wanna dance, and their chocolate chai's are to die for! Plus they always have great live music, and the owner is a nifty ole' fella! I can't wait to return and feel at home again! [15 Nov 2004 16:48:39]

All This and Concert Tickets, too I second all of the praises above. But I would like to add that the Blue Moose is the place to get concert tickets for the Rosewood Theatre before they go on sale online. This is great because there is no service charge like when you buy online and you are less likely to get shut out by buying early. Awesome!
And, they have Wi-Fi access there now. Very cool. [30 Aug 2005 20:33:15]
