My visit to your restaurant about 2 years ago.
The first week of May, 2001, we were snowbound in Evanston and in a motel for 3 days. This restaurant is next door to that motel, so we ate there during our stay. The food was great! We especially loved the scones!    [16 Apr 2003 10:21:04]

Worst dining experience in some time
We stopped in on Friday evening, 21 Oct 05. There were many problems: Although there were ceiling fans turning, I felt as if I were siting at the table with a smoker...poor air circulation. The wiatress was terrible. We had to ask for things two and sometimes three times before receiving it (extra set of silverware, extra napkins, drink refills, katsup). When the order came, she didn't know who ordered what. Because all the food was brought out at one time, most of us had cold food because they were waiting for one persons steak before brining it all out. In all, the biggest waste of $75 I think I ever made. On a good note, the salad was O.K.    [24 Oct 2005 15:25:26]

Walked in walked out
I can't really give a review of this restaurant, as we left before we ordered.

The place was empty except for us (the tavern was full). We were greeted nicely and seated but were informed there was only 3 menus for the 5 of us due to printing problems. The waiter looked humbled and sad, we felt sorry for him.
The menu was sparse and generic so we decided to leave. When we told the waiter we were going to leave, he looked like he was ready to end it there.
