Description

Evanston's newest restaurant is situated in what was once a Burger King. The former play-place has since been converted into a private dining area and the conservatory has been arranged for a large seating area for multiple parties. The decoration of the venue is reminiscent of an old West dining establishment. Complete with turn-of-the-century faux oil lamps and period-styled woodwork.

The menu selection is typical of steakhouse/seafood fair. Shrimp, lobster, steak, etc. Certain alcoholic beverages may be ordered from the bar. Please be aware this is a non-smoking restaurant till 9pm. After that time, only certain portions of the restaurant allow smoking.

Cost for a dish ranges from $8 to $20.

Not Great, Not Really Bad Either
The food seems a bit overpriced for the portions you get. There is nothing overly spectacular about the food. The same dishes could be had at a Red Lobster for a substantially lower cost. NO RESERVATIONS!! They have a tendency of running out of food and delivery of the food is slower than usual for this type of restaurant. Service was horrible!! The place could be classy, but the decor seems dated and not a lot of thought put into seating arrangements. Sardine seating comes to mind. The waitresses were unprofessional and seemed on the side of diner waitresses rather than servers of high-dollar/high-class food.    [24 Jan 2006 14:26:28]
