expensive but worth it Once you get used to Vietnamese prices, it's funny how places like this seem expensive. Visiting businesspersons must wonder at how that could be so. Less than twenty bucks US for all you can eat must seem ridiculous to them. But us locals adapt, and think goodness me, how much more than my local street eateries.
Never mind. Once every now and again I front up. The magic thing about this place for a splash out is that it has all the VNese dishes, even hotpot, to keep your VNese friends amused, while you can nosh up on those foreign dishes so rarely partaken of normally on your eating round. Or that's my scenario anyhow.
I enjoy some sushimi and miso soup for starters, but then I'm into what I normally don't get in VN: roast beef from Australia or New Zealand, or roast turkey, with gravy, and delicious genuine bread. I go to a flash place and eat sandwiches! Can you believe that? I do, no kidding.
The food here is superb.
Ambience is high class, service everywhere and obliging. [15 Jun 2008 09:52:19]
