Greetings and welcome to ChefMoz.

My background is in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I worked with first logic circuit in mid-60's. Bought first 'PC' in 1977. Taught Digital Logic and Computer Design course for about 5.5 years. Received the degrees of BECS (UNM), 1976 and MSCS (JH), 1989.

I have long admired the logic of the character played by Leonard Nimoy on Star Trek TOS hence the nick name. Hopefully I can bring the same logic and sense of curiosity to my tenure at ODP.

The little picture on the left was given to me by an unidentified lizard-like creature. Something was said about appreciating something else of which I have little control over. Since I don't think I am all that important in the larger scheme of things I was rather puzzled, but gratefully accepted.

I am 'addicted' to computers and own a small computer consulting business. Sorry, I don't have a web page and I only do word-of-mouth advertising in the immediate local area.

Just finished building a 'new' computer and set up a Linux server. Now the fun starts. A whole new OpSys to learn! (Registered Linux user number 141955, machine has registration number 61566).

My first edit is below and everything went downhill after that!

I have found the ODP to be like a big family. Some people you get along with, others you don't. If you are a new editor reading this, just remember, if you can't get along with your brother/sister you can always try to avoid them and just keep on trying to do the best you can.
